Cher Finishes New Song Written By Gaga
Cher tweeted she finished the 1st track off her upcoming album and that it is a Lady Gaga and RedOne song:
Just walked in from studio ! I Finished 1st track on new cd &……..”GAGA ” ” YOU ARE THE GREATEST THING TO ME.It’s not a duet ! Who knows ? I Did Hold her “Meat Purse” haha! One can wish! It’s one of her songs & she & Redone gave it to me 4 my cd !Wait ! I would love duet with GaGa, but She Gave Me GREAT Song & I'm beyond Grateful!!!! It's called " The Greatest Thing "
We've heard the demo last year sung by Gaga! I believe Cher will kill it!
That's just for starters. She also tweeted that Mark Taylor (of Believe fame) was coming from the U.K. last weekend to do vocals. I've also come across 3 different posts online (1 from Cher) that she also has Timbaland producing on the new cd!
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago, she and Timbaland co-wrote a song that was supposed to be featured on "ShockValue II". Perhaps this is a continuation. On one post, she said this new cd was way dance which may be why she chose him to produce a few songs - he's well known for his urban, house and hip hop styles. . . Cher hinted that she didn't see why the cd wouldn't be released before the year's end.
So far, the track listing contains just two songs: 1. The Greatest Thing - 2. Over The Moon (not vocally verified yet, but playfully hinted at). I'm ready for an edgier, more modern Cher sound! This weekend, she entered the studio to record another new song.
