Istanbul (Jakil)
Newcomers Jakil are to release their new single Istanbul on September 28th via Sticky Lips Music. This is a cool guitar-driven pop tune with some "white-boy" soul. Kieran's vocals are amazing and I'm loving his breathy falsetto. It reminds me of Brendon Urie's voice.This is the follow-up to their tender tune Look Like Gold. The guys come all the way from Edinburgh and this sound is not that typical of that location. The five-piece cite Fleetwood Mac and Michael Jackson amongst their influence and you can see it a bit on this tune! Enjoy!!
