Vérité’s Debut Album ’Somewhere in Between’ Out Now

Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Vérité has finally released her debut album Somewhere in Between, via Kobalk Music Recordings. If you're into alt-pop with electronic elements than you'll love this release.

Speaking about the album Vérité said, 

Somewhere in Between was mostly written over the last year, somewhere between living and dying. The songs travel though my over analysis of depression, apathy and boredom, follow attempts to make meaning and balance existential crises against distractions. Sonically, I wanted to create something dynamic, driving and melodic--songs that could hold someone's attention.

Vérité delivers here super infectious tracks. My favourite songs are the stunning Phase Me Out, with its propulsive melody; When You're Gone (I love those piano keys), Saint, which is the album's most prominent pop-anthem with an instantly catchy chorus,  Solutions, Control and Death Of Me (the chorus of this one is still stuck to my head).

This 13-track collection blends electronic and alt-pop elements together effortlessly into a rhythm-driven sound that is ornately arranged with emotionally raw lyrics. Stream it below!
