Rhys Lewis Unveils New Single ‘Wish I Was Sober’
Hot off the success of Be Your Man and I Know The Feeling, Rhys Lewis has unveiled his brand new single Wish I Was Sober, out now on Decca Records. Loving this soulful track with a super infectious chorus. Those piano keys make my day along with his golden vocals!! Stream it below!
In a recent interview Lewis said about the track,
It’s a song about being broken up with and basically getting drunk, drowning sorrows, and wanting to call them on the way home. It’s a feeling a lot of people have been through, luckily I chose not.
Below you can also check out a stunning live performance of this single!
The 24-year-old bright talent has spent time between studios in London,
Nashville, Stockholm, LA and Berlin, which has allowed him to develop a
maturity to his song-writing, fusing a rich soulful tone with a lyrical
immediacy straight from the heart of Bill Withers, James Taylor and
Carole King. Rhys has an undeniable gift to capture emotions that will
strike a chord with anyone, and has already garnered a troupe of loyal
fans in the UK as well as internationally.
