Benny Mails premieres video for "Passion"
Quickly-rising South London rapper Benny Mails has unveiled the official music video for his brand new single Passion, a striking highlight from his debut mixtape Aware. Watch it below!
Describing Passion, Benny writes:
this crazy energetic song was recorded in about 20 minutes. My boy Krash on the beat. "I'm cool, calm, collected" is a reference to the 1983 film 'Style Wars'. "It's in the graffiti artists favour, to be as cool, calm and collected about putting his art on the train as he can, you know he wants to get in and get out without even being noticed, except for the work that's going to come out to the public the next day". That's something that's resonated with me since forever. I feel the same way about music, I'm really not here for parties or any other leisurely activities. I never found a good way to put it into my own words until now. I feel like 'Passion' makes you feel like you're in the gutter.
