The rumours were true! Christina Aguilera returned today with her brand new single Accelerate. After 6 long years the Grammy-winning artist has dropped her new single that features rappers Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz. This hip-hop leaning single was produced by Kanye West and it's very different from the pop sound her fans grew used to.

I've got to say that it took me more than one listen to start enjoying the song, so this is definitely a grower. I'm loving it now! The Zoe Grossman-directed visuals are quite suggestive and sexy. Watch them below!




Accelerate is the lead single of her upcoming 8th studio album, Liberation, set to arrive on June 15th! The album - which Aguilera is the executive producer - will focus more on R&B and Hip-Hop influences and it features collaborations by the likes of Demi Lovato, Keida and Shenseea.
