James Ollier Unveils New Single "Glory Days"
Bristol-based singer-songwriter James Ollier has unveiled a dreamy new single called Glory Days. I fell in love with this song as soon as I heard his stunning vocals and haunting harmonies which give the song a beautiful melancholic touch. The guitar plucking and piano keys enhance the overall melancholic atmosphere of this piece of Folk music. Speaking about the song James said,
So the single was written about where I grew up, Glastonbury, Somerset. This song was actually written over around 3 years, the basis I wrote before leaving on an 8 month solo trip which then basically turned into me continuing to move around for 2/3 years and was finished in between trips. I guess in a nutshell it’s about leaving a place you’ve always known, but also coming back to see that everything is still the same.
