I was drawn to the upbeat atmosphere of the instrumental and somewhat of summery vibe, which makes it perfect to keep me warm during these cold winter days. I really enjoy the tone of her voice, very sweet and delicate and how it flows over the infectious melodies. As a person that deals with anxiety myself, I can relate to the lyrics, even though I deal with it differently. Speaking about the song Jenna said,
My new song “Nervous” is a song about the dark force of anxiety which has dominated my life since I was 10 years old. I’ve always used writing as an outlet because exposing my inner demons is cathartic for me and I hope for someone else who might listen and be suffering from the same thing. Music has helped me overcome all things negative in my life and I hope to pass that on and turn it into connection and enjoyment for anyone who listens :)
