Magpie Blue shares music video for debut single ‘Just In Time’

Scottish singer songwriter and lyricist, Magpie Blue, the guise of 19-year-old Millie Hanlon Cole, has just shared the atmospheric music video for her debut single Just In Time, out now via Seahorse Music. Directed and beautifully shot on Edinburgh's breathtaking Portobello beach, by rising filmmaker Jude Thomas (Liverpool Philharmonic, Mitre). My Nana lives in portobello, so I spent a lot of time there when I was little, the beach is so familiar and holds a lot of happy memories. I still love to visit, and it felt apt that the song should be paired with such a simple and nostalgic location. 'Just In Time' is about escaping the grip of a past relationship and the beach represents the journey leading up to that moment when you finally do get over it, force the other person to face up to the way they've treated you and you regain your power.
