Dvniel Unveils Acoustic Version Of ‘Starlight’
Dvniel, the moniker of Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Daniel Capellaro, has just unveiled a stunning acoustic version of his latest single Starlight.
The catchy pop track gets stripped down to a piano-based melody which beautifully enhances the emotion of the heartfelt lyrics that deal with the loss of a dear friend of his to suicide. His smooth, yet powerful, vocals soar effortlessly in this acoustic version and really gets the listener to focus on the heartfelt message of its lyrics. We can perfectly see how much heart and soul he put in this version and I have to say I prefer it to the original. There is just something about emotive piano keys and powerful vocals that really make a song go straight to our hearts and this one has that magical touch. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song Dvniel said,
I wrote this song after I lost a dear friend to suicide. They were suffering deeply from depression and these are words I wished I would have said to them while they were still here in hopes of it having some lasting effect and could have potentially changed their mind and saved them. My friend was so full of light inside and out and my hope with this song is that if someone is feeling unloved, under-appreciated, and completely alone that it might serve as a reminder to them that they are uniquely special. For the rest of us I hope it can serve as a reminder to be more present and available and to listen and not be judgmental. Even a short conversation in honesty can lead to healing.
