The Satellite Station Drops New Single ‘Hollow Sound’

The Satellite Station, the project of American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Travis Rue, is back with his brand new single Hollow Sound, an introspective song about pushing through fear but also admitting we can only do the best we can in the moment. 

I am a big fan of his singles Fear of the Sea and Running, and Hollow Sound continues his beautiful Folk-tinged pop sound that I fell in love with.

I adore those intricate acoustic guitar riffs and steady beat that are then joined by emotive piano keys that beautifully back his smooth vocal delivery. You can feel the emotion pouring from his vocals and how he easily captures the listener's attention to his beautiful storytelling. I am a sucker for reflective pieces of music and The Satellite Station perfectly delivers a song that gets one thinking while enjoying beautiful instrumentation. I am also enjoying the subtle touches of electric guitar, synths and horns that give the song another dimension and growth.
