Summer Winter Unveils New Single ‘Âme Douce’
American artist Summer Winter is known to write satirical spoken word poems and turn them into songs and this is what she has done again with her brand new single Âme Douce (sweet soul), a song about a short romance taken from her latest album Party Of One, out now.

I was instantly drawn to this song thanks to the lush acoustic guitar riffs that create the perfect intimate atmosphere for Summer Winter's vocals to soar. I am also enjoying how her vocals are both powerful and vulnerable, perfectly conveying the emotion of her relatable storytelling. Âme Douce's smooth production combined with her angelic harmonies and great lyrics make this quite an enthralling listening experience and I think you guys will enjoy it. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Summer Winter said,
Âme Douce, or sweet soul, is about a two week romance I had. This boy saw a picture of me in a friend's room. He thought I was beautiful and asked to meet me over FaceTime, as he lived in Portland. It was so weird and unexpected, but we ended up talking for hours everyday on the phone until he finally came to visit me. We went on a 2 week road trip to Santa Cruz. We spoke french, went to art galleries, and made love. He had green eyes, coffee breath, and gave me butterflies. And then... He left. The song ends and I'm left with fond memories and hope for the future.

Je vous remercie pour le temps, âme douce. (Thank you for the time, sweet soul.)
