I am a fan of her dulcet vocals and they soar beautifully over the upbeat pop melodies. Double Tap is a product of the quarantine period and monotony of everyday life, being inspired by Instagram and hoping to travel soon. I am really enjoying the driving guitar riffs, lush synths and infectious beat that perfectly back her sweet vocals. The song has a nostalgic touch as it gets one reminiscing and thinking about the great holidays one had, making the listener want to break the routine and just go and explore the world. I wrote Double Tap after scrolling through Instagram and wishing I could be everywhere everybody else was travelling to. Double Tap is about the monotony of everyday life. We've become so used to posting our highlight reels, and it is so easy to become excited, sad, and sometimes envious of all the places it seems everyone else is going. We hope this song can remind your of your favorite places, get you excited to travel again, and most of all, remind you, you aren't alone in the fear of missing out!
