New York-based Egyptian singer and songwriter Shaker has just unveiled his brand new single On My Own, a song inspired by the lack of connection between Shaker and his inner world, as well as the discomfort that it had caused him.

I am really enjoying his dulcet and soulful vocals and how they soar beautifully over the infectious production. This song has somewhat of a dark touch to its beat that really keeps me coming back to it over and over again. One thing I love about good R&B music is that the beats are always on point and here they flawlessly back his lush vocal delivery and enhance the emotion of his relatable storytelling.
