The Satellite Station Shares New Single ‘Brave’
Following last month's What Are We All Searching For, The Satellite Station, the project of American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Travis Rue, is back with another lovely song titled Brave!
Brave is a relatable song about struggling with impostor syndrome, something quite personal to The Satellite Station and something that I fully understand as I also struggle with that through all my life. Feeling like you're a fraud and being afraid people will find that you are actually incompetent is something that I've always struggled and that takes a toll in our mental health. The Satellite Station's new single shines a light on that inner struggle which is wrapped around haunting folk-tinged melodies, intricate guitar riffs, steady drums and an emotive vocal delivery which creates a warm and intimate atmosphere for his relatable storytelling to soar. Speaking about the song, The Satellite Station said,
This song is about struggling with impostor syndrome. It is something that I struggle with on a daily basis and is most present in my song writing. This song focuses on the inner thoughts that live within that struggle.
