Complex is fresh off the back of his new release 'Where We Came From'. It is the first single I have had the pleasure to review from the Hereford based musician.


My first thoughts to the release are that it is refreshingly unique. Complex's individuality and passion for this genre are dripping out of the record. As a result, it makes for an awe-inspiring listen. Vocally, Complex is on top form, and he covers his nostalgic memories in true style. It is catchy and has an irresistible hook which captivates from the get-go.

Musically, it is robust, and there is a soft, gently delivered instrumental which matches his vocal style perfectly. I would, however, have shortened the intro slightly and jumped straight in with the fastener. It is a trick many musicians are doing these days, and it would have made this piece even more colossal. Nevertheless, it is an attractive release, and I am excited to hear what else this talented artist as up his sleeve.
