Can't Breathe follows the current protests against police brutality following the death of George Floyd and it perfectly depicts how it is for David, as young Afro-American, to live in America. I am really enjoying the laid-back production and how his rhymes flow effortlessly and beautifully shine a light on the existing racial discriminations in America and in the world. It's the song's captivating melodies and laid-back atmosphere that really drew my attention and his message really soars over the smooth production.
