ViVii Share New Single ‘Whistle’
Swedish dream-pop trio ViVii, consisting of Emil Jonsson, Caroline Jonsson and Anders Eckeborn, have just shared their brand new single Whistle, a stunning piece of music.
I am getting old school and Lana Del Rey vibes with this song and the whistling part is really captivating and got me whistling along right after the very first listen. I am loving the intricate acoustic guitar melodies and haunting harmonies that create quite a magical and dreamy atmosphere for their songwriting to soar. Whistle is a beautiful piece of folk-tinged bedroom pop music with lovely guitar plucks, gorgeous vocals and an overall warm, hazy and dreamy atmosphere. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, ViVii said,
Whistle was written when our car broke down in the Nevada dessert on the way to Las Vegas. The car shop guy said “write a song or something”. And so we did."
