Eighty Ninety Share New Single ‘Happier’
Brooklyn-based indie-pop duo Eighty Ninety, consisting of brothers Abner (vocals, production) and Harper (guitar, production) James, have just shared their brand new single Happier, produced by Grammy-nominated producer Gian Stone (Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa).
I am really enjoying Abner's smooth, ethereal vocal delivery and how it is beautifully backed by Harper's gentle melodious guitar. Abner's vocals, particularly his lush harmonies, are one of the reasons I fell in love with this song, with the warm and intimate production being what sealed the deal for me. Happier is a relatable song about trying to hold on to someone for a little bit longer, but realising that sometimes we've got to let them go so they can truly be happier. This lovely message is wrapped around a breezy indie-pop song with stunning vocals and gorgeous guitars and I think you guys will enjoy it too. Check it out below!
