Miley Cyrus Returs With Disco-Tinged Single ‘Midnight Sky’
Miley Cyrus returns with a gorgeous, disco-tinged single titled Midnight Sky, the first taste from her upcoming 7th studio album, She Is Miley Cyrus.
A new single marks a new sound from the artist who now leans a bit on the disco side and gives fans an intimate glimpse into her life on which she takes control of her own narrative from the media. The song is inspired by her separation from actor husband Liam Hemsworth, her following relationships and her sobriety. I am really loving how her vocals sound against a disco-infused production packed with a driving beat, bright synths and gorgeous guitars.
To accompany the release, Miley shared its official music video which she directed herself and draws inspiration from strong female musical icons such as Joan Jett, Stevie Nicks and Debbie Harry. Check it out below!
