The Satellite Station Drops New Single ‘Come Home’
Following the release of his uplifting single Feel This Again, The Satellite Station, the project of American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Travis Rue, is back with yet another gorgeous song titled Come Home.
Come Home is a melancholy-infused piece of indie-folk music about navigating the end of a relationship, realising that something is wrong and unsuccessfully trying to fix the relationship. This is a very relatable song backed by such a warm and intimate production that allows for The Satellite Station's emotive vocals and lush storytelling to soar. I am loving the intricate guitar riffs that are beautifully intertwined with emotive piano chords that enhance the emotion of his heartfelt songwriting. I am also very fond of his lush harmonies and how he easily conveys the emotion of going through the end of a relationship and trying to hold on to it for as long as you can. Check it out below!

This song is about something we can all relate to, the end of a relationship. The view you see in this song is from the person who can sense something is wrong, but doesn't want to believe it because that would mean the end. So instead of accepting it, they do the opposite and try to unsuccessfully fix the relationship.
