The Satellite Station Drops New Single ‘Need You Right Now’

Following the release of his melancholy-infused single Come Home earlier this month, The Satellite Station, the project of American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Travis Rue, is back with yet another gorgeous song titled Need You Right Now, out now via alexrainbirdRecords.

Need You Right Now is about losing someone and the grieving process that comes with that loss... how we still feel echos of that person after they are gone and how we can never fully prepare for their departure. While clearly a sad song, its production is quite upbeat, packed with tons of energy and an anthemic chorus. I am really enjoying the song's soft piano-based intro that beautifully enhances the emotion pouring from his gorgeous vocals and then the song builds up in the chorus, bursting with energy, punchy drums, cool synths and soaring guitars.
