Matthew Rapp Shares New Single ‘Coming For You’
US rising artist Matthew Rapp has just shared his brand new single Coming For You, a rhythmic electro-pop track.
Matthew wrote this song and co-produced it with Stachi and it beautifully captures the feelings of having things put on hold due to Covid-19. I am really enjoying the song’s contrast between rhythmic pop vocals and dark dance instrumentals which gives quite a memorable and anthemic vibe. I am also very fond of Matthew's smooth vocals, which are reminiscent of an early Mike Posner, and how they drive the song forward and soar over the infectious melodies. I am also enjoying how deep basslines are layered with modern horns and vocal synths that produce a pulsating rhythm, creating a powerful redemption song that will leave you hyped up and ready to take control! This song was created once I was given a brief for an upcoming Kevin Hart film. Due to Covid-19, the industry has been put on pause. I was able to capture those emotions, alongside my motivation and determination, and form those into a song.
