Rosie Darling Shares New Single ‘Coping’

22-year old singer and songwriter Rosie Darling has just shared her first single as solo feature artist titled Coping, a beautiful pop ballad out now via Nettwerk Records.

I adore Rosie Darling's dulcet tones and how they are packed with so much raw emotion, instantly connecting the listener with her lovely and relatable storytelling about missing someone following a breakup.

Co-written with Justin Gamella (Lennon Stella, Ashe, Blake Rose), produced by Andy Seltzer (Chelsea Cutler, Shallou, Joan), mixed by Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Florence and the Machine, Vance Joy), and mastered by Joe Laporta (Halsey, JP Saxe, Gracie Abrams), Coping is a stunning piano-based ballad that allows for Rosie to showcase her emotional vocal delivery. It starts as a slow and steady burn that eventually builds into a more percussive and dramatic chorus to match the emotion of a heartbreak. This is a stunning debut with so much raw, honest emotion that keeps me coming back to it over and over again.

Accompanying the release, Rosie shared a stunning music video directed by Claire Schmitt which you can check out below!

Speaking about the video, Rosie said,

Since the pandemic was almost at its peak, we ended up shooting many of the scenes in my apartment. I had my friend Kirk Cedric shooting me while Claire was on Zoom. We hooked the camera up to Zoom so Claire could watch the shots in real-time as she was in New York, and we were in LA. We shot for two days at my apartment, the beach, and on the roof of a parking garage. Staying socially-distanced was probably the hardest part, but we did it.
