Irish singer and songwriter Chris Short has just shared his brand new single Higher, a bright and uplifting piece of folk-tinged pop music taken from his upcoming EP, Somewhere, set to arrive in May 2021 via Beardfire Music.

I am very fond of the tone of his vocals which easily convey the emotion of his lovely storytelling which is enhanced by the acoustic guitar-led melodies. This is a beautiful love song with an overall laid-back atmosphere perfect for those relaxing days at home. Check it out below!
