Total Brutal Shares New Single ‘Egypt’

Total Brutal, the new indie pop solo project from Los Angeles based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emily Moore, has just shared her brand new single Egypt, an upbeat 80's-tinged piece of pop music reminiscent of Phoenix meets Fleetwood Mac.

I am really enjoying Emily's smooth, warm vocals and how they soar beautifully over the infectious funk-fueld production. I am particularly fond of the shimmering bright synths and cool guitar riffs that enhance the song's funky and feel-good atmosphere. Egypt is a song about trying to get the feeling back of being a kid and the excitement of what the future holds. This relatable message is wrapped around an upbeat retro-production with a highly addictive chorus, and an overall chilled and feel-good atmosphere perfect to brighten up your day. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Total Brutal said,

I constantly need to remind myself to play more and lighten up. It’s easy to get lost in the seriousness of life but I want to go through life having fun and viewing everything with curiosity.
