I am loving her powerful, emotive vocal delivery which instantly captured my attention to her heartfelt storytelling. What a Lie is a relatable, raw, piano-based ballad about a tough breakup that allows for Liv to showcased both her songwriting skills and breathtaking vocals. 

The production is quite warm and intimate with emotive piano chords and subtle electronic elements that enhance the emotion pouring from her lush vocals.
