King No-One Share New Single ‘Bad Porno’
UK alt-pop rockers King No-One have just shared their brand new single Bad Porno, a high-energy indie-pop/rock song.
I am really enjoying the confident, attitude-packed vocal delivery and how it soars effortlessly over the upbeat production. With a throwback to early noughties pop, crossbred with a heavy metal
punch Bad Porno is about the toxicity, misplaced grandeur and
pretentiousness around the sex culture. I am particularly fond of the soaring and memorable electric guitar solo that just makes the song stand out even more. Overall this is a fun, high-energy piece of indie-pop/rock music with punchy percussion, soaring guitar riffs an infectious chorus perfect to sing along to. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, the trio said,
Zach wrote the song using a method he's developed which is similar to method acting, creating a person in his head and uses any affiliated emotions and experiences to perpetuate the alter ego and create a narrative. A benefit of his ever conflicting personalities. The soundscape came from Joe's growing obsession of hip hop and audacious noughties pop beats. So why not add some heavy metal?
