Letters From a Dead Man Share New Single ‘When the Lights Go Out’

Letters From a Dead Man, the cenceptual project envisioned by Portuguese singer and songwriter Hugo Piquer Branco, have just shared their brand new single When the Lights Go Out, a captivating indie-rock song.

I am really enjoying the tone of Hugo's warm vocals which easily convey the emotion of his relatable storytelling. When the Lights Go Out is a beautifully-written song from the perspective of someone that has given all they had to make a relationship work but it still wasn't enough to make it work. This message is wrapped around a highly polished indie/pop-rock production with soaring guitars, bright synths and punchy percussion that create the perfect atmosphere for his vocals and message to soar.

Accompanying the release, Letters From a Dead Man has shared its official music video which beautifully embodies the song's atmosphere and message. Check it out below!
