PALCO & AAA+ Share New Single ‘Heart Drop’

American singer and songwriter PALCO has teamed up with Australian artist David Turley of AAA+ to deliver a captivating electro-pop song titled Heart Drop. 

Heart Drop is a romantic indie-pop duet on which both David and PALCO showcases their lovely vocals which fit beautifully together. Born out of the anxiety and political atmosphere in the US during the quarantine perido, this song is PALCO and David Turley's way to escape into a world of fantasy as a way to survive collective trauma. Apart from their gorgeous, expressive vocals I am very fond of the warm electro-pop production with cool guitars being nicely paired with catchy electronics, lush synths and steady percussion which make the song perfect for a laid-back weekend at home. Speaking about the song, PALCO said,

David Turley of AAA+ and I wrote this during quarantine when America's political sphere was so challenged and heavy. The collective anxiety the world was experiencing combined with the isolation of quarantine inspired this sort of alien's eye view of it all. I found myself exploring a lot of fantasy worlds in my head, from life on another planet to romantic encounters I've never had. I realized we rely so much on our fantasy brain and our imagination to survive collective trauma, and that's the space this song was born from.
