Valencia Share New Single ‘So Sober’

Los Angeles-based pop duo Valencia, consisting of California’s Jadeyn Madsen and London’s Lou Courts, are back with yet another gorgeous single called So Sober, an emotional electro-pop song about working through the hardship.

I am a fan of the way their vocals fit beautifully together and I am particularly fond of Jadeyn's honeyed, soulful vocals which instantly drew my attention to their relatable storytelling. So Sober shares a positive message to keep on going despite all the hardships and obstacles that life throws at us. Jayden and Lou's gorgeous vocals soar beautifully over a mix of soft piano and dappled electronics and strings to create a stylistic, melancholic soundscape akin to Oh Wonder, before breaking out into a four to the floor dance beat. Definitely a memorable piece of music which I think you will love. Check it out below!

Speaking on the new single the pair said: This song is for anyone who’s ever been going through it. ‘So Sober’ is about working through the hardship; coming back from the low points in life (losing a job, or a terrible breakup) and when you’re trying to drown it all out, you find someone or something that makes you want to keep going.
