Canadian electronic music producers DVBBS have teamed up with fellow Canadian and alternative sensation Powfu to deliver an infectious blend of alt-punk and electronic music titled Losing Sleep, out now via Ultra Records. 

Taken from their upcoming album SLEEP, Losing Sleep is a feel-good piece of music perfect for a fun summer weekend. I am loving the way Powfu's vocals flow effortlessly over the upbeat production, instantly connecting the listener to their storytelling while making it perfect to sing along to. Losing Sleep is a lament on a lost lover and is wrapped around a captivating production packed with mellow instrumental melodies in the intro that slowly build up with energy to match the emotion of the lyrics. 

I am really enjoying the way the upbeat production contrasts with the lyrics and creates quite a memorable listening experience. Losing Sleep is a great song for EDM and alt-punk music fans as it brings the best elements of both genres into a sun-soaked, feel-good piece of music perfect for the summer.
