Mothé Shares New Single ‘Summer’s Almost Gone’

Mothé, the moniker of American up-and-coming non-binary artist Spencer Fort, has just shared their new single Summer’s Almost Gone, a vibrant track with rolling melodies and atmospheric instrumentation, out now via Slowlab Records.

I am really enjoying their smooth vocals which soar effortlessly over the infectious production. Summer's Almost Gone is a captivating blend of modern indie elements with pop/rock sensibilities that make it quite a fresh and enthralling listening experience. I am particularly fond of the sun-soaked guitar riffs, punchy drums and overall feel-good atmosphere that oozes summer vibes. The bridge is quite something as its guitar-heavy bridge and outro bring an anthemic, stadium-rock energy to compliment the chilled groove found earlier throughout the song.

The single is accompanied by a playful, vibrant music video, directed by Derek Rathbun. It follows Spencer on a journey through which they become a sunflower, spending time and enjoying the sun with one of their kind. The video then sees them frantically trying to piece things back together after the loss of their companion. Check it out below!
