Tadhg Daly Shares New Single ‘Forever Young’

Following the release of his hit single Your Heart’s Not In It, Fast-rising Jersey born / Irish singer and songwriter Tadhg Daly has just shared his brand new single Forever Young, the title track of his upcoming 5-track debut EP set to arrive on October 29th via Silent Kid Records.

I am a fan of his emotive, passionate vocal delivery which instantly draws the listener's attention to his storytelling. I am particularly fond of the acoustic guitar plucks in the intro which create an intimate atmosphere before the song builds up with energy and pace, matching the emotion of his dynamic vocal delivery. Forever Young is an introspective piece of music that highlights moments of self-reflection. It's quite a personal song for Tadhg Daly as it shows the singer looking back to who he was, his troubles and anxiety, and what he would say to himself now. Speaking about the song, Tahdg Daly said,

Forever Young is a story of the pain and confusion I felt growing up and trying to find my place in the world. Seen through the eyes of a teenager being bullied in school on the brink of breakdown alone in their bedroom. The main line in the chorus is what I would tell my younger self… “It's alright to feel this way”.
