The Satellite Station Shares New Single ‘Night Shift’

Following the release of his gorgeous album Only Human, The Satellite Station, the alias of American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Travis Rue, returns with a brand new single titled Night Shift, out now via alexrainbirdRecords. 

Night Shift kicks off a new era for The Satellite Station, slightly shifting from a folk-infused sonority to a more indie-pop friendly approach which I actually am finding quite captivating. This new song is about the struggles of working a job on a different schedule than the rest of your life. As always, it's The Satellite Station's smooth vocals that drew me to this song and the intricate guitar riffs nicely intertwined with steady percussion create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere that oozes chill summer days.
