Ford France Kennedy Shares New Single ‘Light By The Ocean’

24-year-old Australian indie pop singer-songwriter Ford France Kennedy has just shared his brand new single Light By The Ocean, an infectious, disco-tinged electro-pop song. 

 

I am really enjoying his confident and expressive vocal delivery and how it is nicely backed by a warm and polished production. Light By The Ocean is a song for anyone who's ever been gaslit, taken for granted or otherwise 'knocked down' in a relationship. This message is wrapped around a punchy, disco-inspired production packed with warm rhythms, groovy guitar riffs and catchy percussion that create an overall danceable, feel-good atmosphere. The chorus is my favourite part as it got stuck to my head just after the very first listen and I've been humming to it all morning. I am also very fond of the bridge with the warm bass and subtle piano chords that make the song stand out even more. This is a great song to get you in a weekend mood and you can check it out below!
