Margot Polo Unveils New Single ‘Can You Hear Me?’

California-based indie-pop artist Margot Polo, the solo project of producer David Provenzano, has just shared his brand new single Can You Hear Me?, a sun-soaked piece of indie-pop music.

Created while in quarantine, Can You Hear Me? was done entirely on his own: writing, recording, singing, producing, AND mixing, beautifully showcasing his abilities to create and deliver infectious pieces of music. I am really enjoying the blend of organic and electronic elements and how they make the song stand out from others. I am particularly fond of the raw, driving drums and how they are effortlessly intertwined with fuzzy guitars, electric bass and synth swells that create somewhat of an upbeat, psychedelic-infused indie-pop/rock atmosphere. I am also very fond of his vocal delivery that soars over the warm production. This is a summery piece of music perfect for a fun weekend with friends. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Margot Polo said,
I know I'm not unique in feeling this but 2020 was easily one of the most difficult years of my life. Getting to work out all of the words and music to this song, Can You Hear Me?, was such a wonderfully therapeutic and enjoyable experience. I didn't start doing yoga or learn how to bake sourdough bread, but I got to write, record, produce and mix a song that I'm really proud of and am excited to share...
