Sea Girls Unveil ‘Sick’ Music Video
Following a run of massive mainstage festival performances, including Reading & Leeds Festival, TRNSMT, Neighbourhood and Latitude, this summer, British band Sea Girls have just shared the official music video for their gorgeous single Sick, the first single to be taken from their forthcoming highly-anticipated new album Homesick set to arrive on January 14th 2022 on Polydor Records.
I am a fan of Henry Camamile's vocals and how passionate his delivery is, instantly drawing our attention to their relatable storytelling. Sick is an introspective pop/rock song about being fed up with everything, realising you're no longer a child and that it's time to grow up, even though the easiest would be to ask for a reset on things.
Directed by Joseph Delaney (Ashnikko, HMLTD) in Hackney, the stunningly shot video sees lead singer Henry Camamile reflecting in his gloomy room on all the things that make him sick. Check it out below!
Speaking about the video, Henry Camamile said,
It was very important that this video felt real and didn’t stray from the intended feelings of frustration and repetition I was feeling in my life when this song was written. Being a filmmaker Joseph our Director totally felt the song's meaning.
