Following the release of his EP All I've Grown which included the powerful single Wild, British singer, songwriter and producer Alex Rv Phillips is back with a brand new single titled Summer Love.
Out now via ARVP and taken from his upcoming EP, set to arrive on November 4th, Summer Love is a song about how the sun brings back joy following the colder times that often bring a feeling of emptiness and loss.
I am a fan of Alex Rv Phillips's distinctive tone and how passionate his vocal delivery is, packed with raw emotion, instantly connecting the listener to his storytelling. Apart from his vocals I am very fond of the emotive piano chords and how they are nicely paired with a catchy beat and warm percussion that enhance the warmth of his voice. There is also a touch of melancholia in this song that I really like and I find the song to be perfect to play during those days home alone with my thoughts. Check it out below!

I often feel the harder/colder times in life remind me of the winter months where things seem to not grow. Often an emptiness/feeling of loss but I wanted to make a song to celebrate the contrast and relief/joy that can be found when the sun comes back around.
