Devan Shares New Single ‘Orchid’

Toronto-born/London-raised singer and songwriter Devan has just shared her brand new single Orchid, a lovely indie-pop song taken from her new EP, Liquid Sunshine, out now via Premature Nostalgia.

 

Orchid is a song about feeling underappreciated in a relationship and beautifully showcases Devan's gorgeous and emotive vocal delivery over a warm pop production. Apart from her luscious vocals, I am very fond of the piano chords and how they are nicely intertwined with warm atmospherics and steady beat that create an overall feel-good, laid-back atmosphere. Accompanying the release, Devan has shared its official music video, directed by Kyle Laurin, which beautifully embodies the song's warmth and emotion. Check it out below!
