Kyle Trippy Shares New Single ‘No Attachment’
Detroit-based Hip-Hop/R&B artist Kyle Trippy has just shared his intoxicating new single No Attachment, a captivating blend of Hip-Hop, Soul and dark R&B elements.
I am really enjoying the effortless flow of his warm, confident vocal delivery over the polished production, instantly drawing my attention to his storytelling. Written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Kyle independently, No Attachment is a song about a woman who only likes to be chased rather than tied to an attachment that comes with feelings and love. This message is wrapped around a memorable production packed with lush acoustic guitar strums being nicely intertwined with a trap-infused beat that create an overall warm, laid-abck atmosphere. Accompanying the release, Kyle has shared its official music video which you can check out below!
Speaking of the track, he says,
I pictured a chase of some sort, so I wanted it to sound like that. Like you’re running from something. In terms of the production, I do it all myself, none of it is outsourced. From the music to the visuals and cover art, I do it all myself and I try to put a good little spin on it for anyone who listens or watches. No other hands or eyes ever touch it.
