Nina June Shares New Single ‘Jeremiah Blue’

Amsterdam-based singer and songwriter Nina June has just shared her brand new single Jeremiah Blue, the latest single from her upcoming full-length album, Meet Me on The Edge of Our Ruin, set to arrive on November 26th via Nettwerk Records. 

 

I am a fan of her powerful, dynamic vocal delivery which beautifully conveys the emotion of her storytelling. Jeremiah Blue is a gorgeous song about the first person who breaks your heart and how that changes you forever. This message is wrapped around a timeless pop/singer-songwriter production packed with glistening keys, airy guitars, lush, cinematic strings, steady percussion and warm atmospherics that create an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere perfect for a relaxing day at home. NIna June's storytelling flows effortlessly and the song has also a magical, dreamy touch that I find very captivating. 

 

Accompanying the release, Nina June has shared its official music video, directed by Marc Haers, which beautifully enhances the song's dreamy vibe. For the video, Nina was dressed by Amsterdam-based House Of Usefulness, a fashion label that is dedicated to sustainable fashion, only using pre-loved fabrics and materials to construct their collection.
