Following the release of his gorgeous single Night Shift, The Satellite Station, the alias of American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Travis Rue, has just shared his brand new single Trouble, out now via alexrainbirdRecords. 

 

I am a fan of The Satellite Station's gorgeous, emotive vocals and how they instantly make the song recognisable and memorable. Trouble is a song about overcoming your past so you can be there for someone you love and is wrapped around a warm indie-pop production paired with haunting folk-inspired melodies. I am particularly fond of the gentle acoustic guitar strums that are nicely intertwined with emotive piano chords, subtle electric guitar riffs and steady percussion which creates an overall warm and intimate atmosphere for his stunning vocals and emotional storytelling to soar.
