Luca Firth Unveils New Single ‘Watching Trains’

British singer and songwriter Luca Firth has just shared his brand new single Watching Trains, a lovely indie-folk taken from his new mixtape, A Year of Grace, out now via Bad Influence.

I am really enjoying the tone of his voice and how smooth and warm his vocal delivery is, effortlessly connecting the listeners to his storytelling. Watching Trains is a song about feeling lost, confused and struggling to know what to do with your life, all wrapped around a memorable indie-folk production. This is a very relatable song and I like how easily Luca captured these feelings and experiences in this song that is packed with raw acoustic energy, latching onto a beautifully crafted arrangement of multi-levelled lyricism, supported by a wonderful foundation of ever-progressing instrumentation. I am loving the intricate acoustic guitar riffs and how the song has a warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for a laid-back, introspective day home alone. Check it out below!
