Charles Fauna Shares New Single ‘Ciao’

Following January's heartfelt, '80s pop inspired Diner, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter, producer Charles Fauna has just shared his brand new single Ciao, a dance-worthy, emotion filled track that draws from the best of artists like Fleetwood Mac, The Weeknd, and Bruno Mars.

I am a fan of Charles Fauna's smooth, soothing vocals which glide beautifully over the upbeat indie pop production. Ciao is a song about sheer, unrelenting positivity, a feeling that is enhanced by the groovy melodies. This message is wrapped around a catchy production that features a steady beat which guides a funk bass lick that pairs perfectly with Fauna's sleek falsetto. I am also very fond of the saxophone which ties everything together in a beautiful climax. Ciao is an upbeat, feel-good piece of music perfect to get one dancing and forget about their problems. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Charles Fauna said,

'Ciao' is both “hello” and “goodbye” in Italian which I felt spoke to the heart of this song. One thing ends and another thing begins. Creation and destruction. The cycles of life. At the end of a relatively dark record about loneliness, soul searching and change, Ciao invites the listener, like the protagonist, to shut up and dance.
