I wrote Cupid while very quickly and unexpectedly falling in love at sea. I swear at the time I didn't want it to happen. It was intense and inconvenient and...annoyingly wonderful. I wrote this song in a matter of days, played it for the woman who inspired it and...she said thank you but it just wasn't meant to be. I held onto this song for years before finally recording it live in front of a lovely + lively audience in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
