Wax Owls Share New Single ‘Start Again’

Los Angeles indie-folk trio Wax Owls have just shared their brand new single Start Again, an anthemic indie-folk song taken from their forthcoming debut EP Cowboy Cologne

Written by vocalist Gerry Hirschfeld with Better Than Ezra frontman / founder, Kevin Griffin, Start Again is a song about the excitement we feel when starting something new, be it a new day, hobby or relationship. This message is flawlessly conveyed through Gerry's gorgeous vocals which soar brightly over the infectious production. This is a song that shows we have to go through darker days in order to be able to start again, a relatable message wrapped around intricate guitar riffs, steady drums and an anthemic chorus perfect to sing along to. Check it out below!

Vocalist Gerry Hirschfeld says on the track,
I wrote 'Start Again' with Better Than Ezra frontman / founder, Kevin Griffin. It was one of those songs that just came together really quickly. From the moment we had the chorus melody, everything else kind of fell into place. 'Start Again' is about the feeling and excitement we get when we start something new or fresh. This could be a relationship, a hobby, or just beginning a new day. However, to start anew often takes more than just choosing to start over. We often have to go through moments of darkness to get to the point of starting again. The song is a homage to those times we have to get through in order to be ready to start again.
