Australian indie/folk-rock artist Daniel Trakell shares his brand new single Waves, the latest single to be taken from his upcoming album, Into The Blue, set to arrive on November 24th via Dumont Dumont. 

 

I am a fan of Daniel Trakell's gorgeous tone and how effortless his vocal delivery is, exuding so much emotion and vulnerability that instantly captured my attention from the start. Recorded in an old church hall that sits in Mollongghip - a farming community 20 Minutes from Ballarat - produced and mixed by the talented Josh Barber (known for his work with Gretta Ray, Gotye, and Archie Roach), Waves is a dreamy indie/folk-rock song that draws inspiration from the likes of 60s-era folk, featuring gorgeous guitar riffs seamlessly paired with catchy percussive elements and rhythms that together create an overall warm, comforting atmosphere perfect for a laid-back, introspective day home alone.
