Fleece Share New Single ‘Stay At Home Boy’

Montreal-based LGBTQ indie-rock band Fleece have just shared their brand new single Stay At Home Boy, a high-energy introvert anthem.

Out now via Blue Heron Music, Stay At Home Boy finds the indie rockers using more electronic instruments, something they've been dabbling with as they've all been getting more into pop artists like Doja Cat, Charli XCX, and Drake. What I like the most about this song is its energy, with the soaring guitars and punchy drums creating the perfect soundscape for lead singer Matt Rogers's passionate, confident vocals to soar. Stay At Home Boy is an introvert anthem about partying on your own, preferring to be at home dancing by yourself. A message I can relate to most of the times and I think many of you will enjoy it too. This is a sassy, feel-good indie-rock gem packed with energy and guaranteed to brighten up your day in no time. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Matt Rogers said,
We wrote this one back in 2021 when the only option we really had was to party by ourselves, and even now, we find these lyrics still ring home on a Monday, Tuesday or even Saturday night.
