Tom Hugo, lead member and composer of pop powerhouse band KEiiNO, has just shared his empowering new single Fade Out, a heartfelt collaboration with his husband Alexander Olsson. 

 

Out now via Virgin Music, Fade Out delves into the emotional aftermath of a neo-Nazi demonstration against the LGBTQ+ community in Kristiansand, Norway, Tom Hugo's hometown. We can feel the anger and dissillusionment pouring from Tom Hugo's passionate vocal delivery, shedding light on the pervasive sense of 'second-class' status among the LGBTQ+ community in regions where conservative ideologies hold sway, particularly in southern Norway. The song, a poignant expression of defiance and resilience, has already garnered significant media attention in Norway. Controversy erupted when two schools in Kristiansand initially canceled a concert featuring Fade Out, citing concerns raised by a group of parents who falsely claimed the song equated Christians to Nazis. The incident triggered debates on mainstream media platforms in the country.
